Upper Blue: From I-70, take the Breckenridge exit (Highway 9 South), and follow the signs to Breckenridge. There is public fishing from Breckenridge to County Road 3 where it crosses the river. You can park here, or go further up the river and park at the turn-out parking at the city limit sign. Between these two spots there is excellent fishing.

Lower Blue: From I-70, take the Silverthorne exit. If you want to fish just below the dam, take a left when you exit, and go under the interstate. Take a right at the traffic light, and when you cross the river, take the first left. Follow this dirt road for about half a mile until you reach the dam.

To fish at the factory stores there are plenty of places to park, depending on which part of the river you want to fish.
